BREAKING: Iranian Official Admits Aiding Hezbollah, Says All Middle East Oil Will Be Cut Off To the West
Sepah News (the house organ of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard) reports:
On Wednesday, March 2nd, Commander of the Basij organization, Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Naghdi spoke at a conference of specialist working groups of Basiji corps of engineers. “Seventy percent of the world’s fossil fuel reserve is under the feet of the soldiers of the Supreme Leadership and soon oil and gas fields belonging to Muslims, which is now in the hands of America will fall into the hands of the people; that will be the time when all those overlords will have sanctions put on them.” He added: “The enemy is heavily dependent on this energy and the events in the region has them quite agitated, this of course provides us with a hopeful future.”
Naghdi added: “In combating the sanctions our engineers have achieved many impressive things which has clearly frustrated the enemy. And of course our engineers in the nuclear area were shining examples as they were faced with international powers which had colluded against us in preventing this project from going forward, but they did not succeed.”
Naghdi admitted that the Basij militia was in fact instrumental in supporting Palestinians and the Hezbollah during the 22 day and 33 day wars and this has also sparked awareness among people around the world. He said: “Today Zionism is surrounded and it’s days are numbered. If we stay the course and carry out all plans as designed, the awareness that we have inspired will be the basis for the downfall of the overlords.’
Underlining the importance of the changes taking place throughout the region and especially regarding Libya Naghdi claimed: “The Americans have installed their own agent there so that he resists; this then will be a reason for the U.S. to launch a military attack. They’ve always hated the idea of the oil being in control of Muslims, therefore they conspire against all those countries.” He added: “This military resistance in Libya resembles the atrocities committed by Saddam which in fact was America’s own set up as a part of creating the basis for total control over that country. Any action against Libya would be a stupider move than the stupidity of the invasion of Iraq. There are great men in that country and they will never allow their soil to be under American control for a single day. Should the U.S. attack any of the (liberated) countries, it will suffer a blow at the hand of all the nations of Islam.
This decade is the decade of the people’s rule in our region, to push America out, destroy the Zionists; this of course adds to our responsibilities as we must protect and guarantee that all those people who have managed to free themselves, do not fall prey to the evil overlords.”

If they keep the oil they don’t get the money for the oil. Just a minor economic point which I’m sure they’ve considered thoroughly. (You know, when not paving streets for the Mahdi.)
They don’t care about that. They don’t care about country, either. They are awaiting the twelfth imam. Their reward isn’t on this little spinning rock called Earth. That is what makes them so dangerous.
well obama is here, let them get on with things…
While I COMPLETELY agree with the entire notion of the Mullah’s 12-imam Mahdi — and thus their not caring about the ramifications to their country (in fact Khomeini said — and I’m paraphrasing — there is no such thing called “Iran” there is only Islam), nevertheless, a minor point could be that they sell to China (and not to the so-called “overlords” which I assume to be the West).
You know that the muslims say we are conquers and stealer` s of their wealth. If Iran and hezbollah want to play the tough guy role and threaten to cut off oil to the west. By all means, let them do it but I would turn Iran to glass. It would look so pretty in the star light. All for what the 12th whatever who does not exist. Islam teaches it is okay to lie and we all know satan is the king of lies!
Better yet, let’s tie food exports to fair trade dependant on the energy trade. The cost of food to the Middle East will fluctuate in step with the cost of energy. Stop the flow of oil, and have fun eating all those edible oil product Moe.
Not Surprised. Will also not be surprised when our Govt. decides to send more aide to the ME, after their economies collapse even further as a result of them not selling us their oil.
In that sort of situation, couldn’t we just destroy Iran’s ONE refinery as well as their ports and then just sit back watch what happens when THEY run out of gasoline?
Armando, to hit the Refinery and stop Iran’s gasoline flow/production, would cause Iran to retaliate against Israel and America. Don’t think Nato or Europe would authorize force unless they where dieing. It is rumored that Iran already has 4 nuclear weapons, one from the 1973 Israel war, where a pilot plane got shot down with a nuke on board. That nuke is rumored to be in Iran on a Missile. Also when the Soviet Union collapsed Iran bought 4 MIRV nuclear missiles thru the black market from Russia/Military. Each of those missiles is said to have a 100 megaton yield or kill range of 100 miles with a fall out range of 1000 miles. On top of that did Iran perfect the making of it’s own nukes? If it did, then it will have even more nukes. I take it you get the point, 1 Russian Nuke can kill all of Israel. A second nuke strategically placed can kill all of Americas Navy in the area. A third can kill most of the troops in Iraq. That leaves 1 Israel Nuke for back up. On top of that Russia had over 300 suit case nuclear bombs, half of them are still missing and have been rumored to be sold on the black market. Wonder who would buy them and where they would have a interest in placing them?
Long story short, America has 2 wars going now it can not finance and its debt will bankrupt it shortly. On top of that Russia and China have signed protection pacts with Iran. That pretty much guarentees America won’t touch Iran. That leaves Israel to go it alone. I don’t think they will. They will ride it out and wait for the Islamic nations to strike first, then they will wipe them out with their arsenal of over 300 nukes, which are land based, Bomber based, and Submarine based (3 subs).
“This decade is the decade of the people’s rule in our region” Are the dictators aware of this ? They can have their oil, tell ‘em to stop wearing bluejeans and sneakers….
That was my thought Armando. Response to the first slavo, destroy the refinery and the oil port. No oil going out, no gasoline coming in and no oil being refined to gasoline. Two days the Iranian economy grinds to a screeching halt.
Then send them foreign aid to help with their ailing economy. Yes we are that stupid. In the mean time, continue the drilling moratorium. That’ll teach them.
I’ve often wondered what the muslims would be angry about if they gained control of that little strip of land known as Israel. Does peace reign throughout the world? Or do they immediately start complaining of the infidels being in control of Spain? And start demanding that Spain be destroyed? Land once controlled by muslims is always muslim land. Land once controlled by non – muslims but conquered by muslims becomes muslim land forever. It’s a never ending struggle between islam and the rest of us.
Translation: Iran is planning on invading Saudi Arabia. Here we go again!
Paul has it. It stares down at Israel but it eyes Mecca.
Arabs and Iranians get along like oil and water. This Iranian official is a twit talking out of his backside.
Uh, how much credibility should we place in “the house organ of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard” as a news source?
@8 Dikehopper
would that be an official generative organ?
and would that make them a bunch of p***ks?
I don’t think this qualifies as stunning. I’d go with “admits the obvious.”
Meanwhile, we sit on 120bbl of known oil reserves in our fair land and intentionally hold our economy hostage.Maybe we have become too stupid to recover our sanity.
The withholding of US oil reserves from its citizens is not stupidity, it is intentional.
What better way for the left-they have been in control of the US for decades, even when a Republican is in charge-to bring the US to its knees than through oil blackmail?Does anyone in their right mind-no pun intended-believe that leaving Iran unmolested for decades, Saudi Arabia too-despite their worldwide terror-has been an accident?Of course not.It has also not been because the US can’t topple said regimes.
Therefore, one must think the unthinkable.US leaders have been pursuing an anti-American agenda for years.
By the way, IF anyone thinks that Israel’s ‘stalemates’ with Hezbollah/Hamas have been accidents too, then they are unfamiliar with Israeli politics.
Israel is a quasi independent state. The real power is the left in Israel which receives its marching orders from Washington.
AFTER the stunning victory over all her Arab aggressors in 1967, Israel was ordered-yes, ordered-to stand down.To rap/tap their tormentors, but by NO means to humiliate them. Therefore, even as the IDF was withing spitting distance of Cairo in 1973, Israeli forces retreated! Why?Because their masters demanded them too.
Out of the belly of this slavish beast the Oslo Peace/Death accords were birthed. And so it goes……
re 10 – Adina – That’s a dismal scenario, but not necesarily a leftist-led conspiracy. With oil being a finite resource, does it not make sense to use up the rest of the world’s supply before tapping our own? Prices will skyrocket as the supply diminishes, and the oil companies and their political puppets will make out like bandits…
Are you sure oil is a finite resource? If that is so, then why are old oil fields that were thought to be depleted now contain oil.
Oh, reeeeeeeally?…
– Navin Johnson
Iran cutting off oil to the United States seems like an empty boast at best until you throw in the Obama factor, which means that Iran, with the willing complicity of President Kim Il Obama, who has stated he wants gas to rise to a least $7 per gallon, just might be able to pull it off. Does any clear thinking American feel confident at all that Obama would move decisively to protect our country based on his actions to date? I think not.
Most Americans, hopefully by the end of this year will realize that they made the greatest mistake in our history by voting in this marxist America hater as president.
Optimist! Most Americans are doing good if they know what day it is.
Okay “Bob from Virginia”, March 7th right? Oh wait that was yesterday. Ah, okay you nailed us. Barack Hussein Oblama is President?
The Muslim Brotherhood has also told the U.S. to butt out of Libya and let Arab nations sort this out. I’m telling you, Obama is crazy for even thinking of getting the U.S. involved.
We still haven’t rebuilt the World Trades from the last time we were ‘thanked’ for rescuing Kuwait. It only takes a couple dozen morons and then blooey.
I’m in favor of the ‘damned if you don’t’ as I doubt any terrorists will shout, “This is for not intervening in Libya”, as they yell “God is great – really, I mean it – he is. Die!!!!!”
This guy doesn’t understand where the food comes from that him and all the other people of that region need to keep living. They can’t grow anywhere near the amount of food that is needed. The West can go into a “food for oil mode”. It’s not like it hasn’t been done before.
All Middle East Oil Will Be Cut Off To the West…
and the Middle Easterners will eat their sands and drink their oil which they can’t get out of the ground without the West.
we’re not their best customers..most of our stuff comes from canada and mexico.
We need our own oil fields on and offshore..until we actually come up with an alternative..
.When we get this phantom alternative bs going..then we shut down the oilfields…until then
DRILL BABY DRILL
MYG obama is probably having a party tonight over this little news ..that man needs to leave office.
DRILL BABY DRILL!!
Well this makes it even more important to shut down the Alberta oil sands. That way, America’s descent into medieval times is assured, with the resulting decrease in those nasty polluting industries that upset Green Peace so.
The more we tolerate Muslims , the more insane their objectives become. Does this Naghdi fellow think the Israelis are fools and faint hearted? Does he understand that Israel has the weapons and delivery means to turn their country into a wasteland ? How can Muslims be so convinced that they will be victorious in an exchange of missles?
It is mindless boasting and foolish self delusion to want a war with an enemy who can destroy you if forced into conflict.
Glass, Baby, glass!
Obama’s utter lack of knowledge about the ‘cool’ muslims in the middle east is going to get us in trouble.
The East of Libya are no friends to America and are a nice base of human bodies for Al-Queda and the Muslim Brotherhood.
They may want help from the U.S. in the West of Libya but helping the East is stupid.
Italy, and Briton get most of the oil coming out of Libya, let them take care of the problem.
We need to get out of Iraq, and Afganistan.
The only country we should be invading is Mexico. Take the oil wells, drill more, and pay for all this illegal alien healthcare, food stamps, housing, court/jail/lawyer costs, and pay the American tax payer back.
excellent idea!!
I say BS …drill baby drill needs to be shouted from the roof tops, tell van Green and Obama to shut up and get out of the way ! the liberals are destroying this country and they need to be stopped.
the people of the middle east hate us..why do we even bother. If my car runs out of gas, okay, i have a bike, or walk…if they don’t’ have food , I’m not gonna starve. let them eat their oil.
How can we allow our selves to be treated this way over such a small amt of oil? seriously, how can the gas prices get so jacked up over this??? Most of our oil doesn’t come from the middle east!!!!
so , I agree take Mexico’s and even things out
you make a good point or two, leatherneck best i have seen yet
All these Oil states wouldn’t have the slightest idea what to do with their oil if they didn’t have Western technology to get it out of the ground, refine it and build machines to use it. I’ll bet the vast majority of them still have no clue how any of this technology works. But they will bomb the world into the stone ages to prove that they are … superior.
#6 Paul makes the key point. All this is pure bluster unless Iran takes control of Saudi Arabia, either directly or indirectly. Of course if they’re ever going to try now is the time with their secret ally Hussein at the helm here.
If oil is used as a weapon against The West the only sensible approach is to use Western weapons against the oil producers.
In the Global Economy the oil producing nations have an obligation to provide their oil and at a reasonable price.
If they choose not to the Oil Consuming nations have a right to take the oil by force.
Twenty five cents a gallon sound good to anybody else?
Drill baby drill. Convert to Natural Gas. They say we have enough natural gas to provide all our needs for 100 years. Then let then eat oil since they don’t have enough food to feed their people.
Tough to grow food in sand, price of oil up; well the price of wheat from the west doubles. You can survive a good while without oil…….however food is another thing.
the 2011 wheat crop forecast comes out on Thursday. So far, looks like the U.S. and Ukraine are the surplus exporters this year.
‘wheat for oil’? or just sell the wheat to the highest bidder, which will be not-muslim Asia…
I guess this general thinks the Shi’a of Saudi Arabia are about to take control of the oil fields they happen to live on top of…
Even if Khalili’s quotes border on the ridiculous, the do point to the fact of Iran’s never ending ques to to control as much of the Middle East as possible, especially the Gulf States</I. which are particularly vulnerable.
Yes, you are all correct in that we could (a) blast Iran to the stone age, (b) open up the Persian Gulf if they attempted to close it, and (c) basically get out way militarily if we really want to.
The only problem lies in the time it takes to do all that. And in that time, gasoline prices will skyrocket, and that will cause… guess what, another Obama-related depression. As it is we're barely printing enough money to pay of the Chinese. I think another hit economically will be difficult to swallow.
But putting that aside, note the slowness of Iran’s movements, the took something like 20 – 30 years to actually take over a country from the inside — something I’ve never read about being done before really. I’m of course talking about Iran’s newest Westernmost State, Lebanon which they more or less have full control of. This also means Syria’s influence has declined — which is fine by me, but I’m just noting these slow changes over time that the slithering snake known as the “Islamic Republic of Iran” who stones women for getting raped has in fact achieved by taking a very slow and steady approach. They are known toe be excellent chess players.
BTW, they are now opening a “Permanent” Naval Base off of Syria. It’s a sort of ti for tat game: if we can have a naval base in the Gulf Coast states (in the Persian Gulf) then by Golly, the IRI will open their ownbase in the Mediterranean. Possibly not a big deal for the USA, but a VERY VERY VERY big deal for Israel who, is now surrounded almost completely by either Iran, or agents of Iran including the Muslim Brotherhood(!), who I learned recently has been linked up with the Shiite IRG since the Iranian revolution 30 years ago. Now that’s some real Arab brotherhood to be worried about (at the least from Israel’s point of view).
The fact is Iran is clearly itching for a fight with Israel with it’s vassal states. And however it turns out, it won’t be pretty.
Khalili does a good job in keeping us informed of these seemingly nonsensical statements by “the country voted most likely to be bombed by the US for 30 straight years in a row now, namely”: Iran.
I hope they start right now, by cutting off Iran’s oil sales to the West, and then they can eat a well-deserved meal of sand.
Can they eat or drink their oil? No, of course not. We, the United States doesn’t get much oil from the Middle East and probably none from Iran itself. But if we would open up our vast, untapped oil fields, begin drilling everywhere and building distilleries we could move from being an oil importer to an oil exporter and supply some if not most of the oil needs of say, Europe. So, as I said at the beginning, can they eat or drink their oil? If no one is buying their oil then what?
I don’t think more distilleries is going to be much help. Now, increasing refinery capacity, otoh…..
The oil companies, the governments, arms traders, all love this warmongering jibberish from this rishoo. What would they do if he shaved and shut up. He serves them well. The Iranians ignore him, and the less publicity he gets the better.
The Iranians and the Venezuelans will cozy up to the Chinese to poke the US in the eye, but when the Chinese start coming down on the Islamists, they’ll find a partner that makes cooperation with the US look like the height of respect. The Chinese don’t care. They’ll take what they want, one way or the other. They know what’ll happen if their economic juggernaut fails . . .
Snake,
You’re still alive! You have always been my Hero.
We love you Snake!
Yes!!! Let’s keep our drilling moratorium going. Screw that oil in Alaska, the Gulf, off the continental shelf and everywhere else we have our own oil. That’ll show those Islamic terrorists. Let’s just keep shooting ourselves in the feet till we have no feet left. Till we have no economy. Let’s deplete our strategic reserves so Obama can get re-elected. That’ll show ‘em. Half this country should have their driver’s licenses suspended because they are asleep at the wheel.
The only problem with ‘let them eat sand’ is that we are restricted by our own government from producing the food WE need, let alone what everyone else needs. Anybody remember Paul Rodriguez PLEADING with barry to let the water flow so the farmland could be irrigated and damn the insignificant little fish? His silence was deafening.
Been to the grocery store lately? Take a look at the seafood counter, it’s from all over the world. We produce lots of wheat and corn but not enough of everything else, except skulls full of mush. The problem with this country is that more than one generation has been indoctrinated into the line of thinking that America is evil and oppressive. And that ain’t gonna change overnight.
We have about 35 days worth of consumption in the SPR. If you live in a city where everything gets trucked in, prices for EVERYTHING are going to skyrocket overnight. Sure am glad I don’t live in a major city. NY, LA, DC, Philly, etc. there will be riots in the streets that make Watts look like a day at the park. Perhaps dereliction of duty is grounds for impeachnment, and not a long drawn out procedure like when investigating perjury.
Start speaking your mind IN PUBLIC if you hear someone complain about the price of gasoline, food, etc. Grow a spine and to hell with political correctness. Argue, politely, with these morons in public. Quit preaching to the choir, Our survival as a country is at stake. Either that, or learn Chinese.
I quess if the middle east wants to cut off the west’s oil. The US will then just have to use our export grain to make obama’s biofuel. We can make oil from grain, can the islamic radicals make food from oil. The Grain Growing Exporting Countries needs to be created. The GGEC can then regulate the price of grain.
Then all Muslims must prepare to die.
Message to Hugo, Muammar, Khameini, House of Saud, Assad, et. al.: You really only have two choices, 1) squeeze as hard as you can, take the money, and hope for the best, or, 2) We’ll take it all away from you all at once and then those of you who survive can go f*** camels in tents. You get to choose. We will not care or mourn you in the end.
This is reality, as extreme as it may sound. Choose wisely. Else you are all fools.
Remember the cartoon of the Muslim Motors show room. The salesman asks the customer to go for a ride. As they drive into the street they detonate. That’s what their engineers know how to do.
We all know there will be big problems for our petroleum supply but this country will do what it needs to get around it, mainly turning on all of our capability to produce at home, after kicking the protesters out of the way.
Those who have lived through depression and World War, ending up fighting in Korea, know that times can be tough, success elusive, despair barely contained. However in the past America has always come through in the long run and we will succeed against all problems as they occur now. We will be better for it in the end, so it does not matter what some General Iranian thinks, the Great Satan will always be successful and be there when he needs to complain about something.
Two words. Neutron Bomb!
No Iranian oil goes to the west, does it?
The only Arab oil the US buys is Saudi, who in turn get military aid from the US. Is Iran suggesting they can shut this off?
Me thinks the food embargo will be more effective than the oil embargo.
OFEC
This news is very sinister. The regime is as hostile as a government can be without open war. Should we play for time? Should we act sooner rather than later? What a mess!

Thanks.
We are told that big business and lobbyist control and run our government. Then why is it that large or small business can not even fart without government permission?
Tom at 23. has it nailed, and as a bonus, the cleanest eco-cars use natural gas, and many conventional engines can be converted to run on it. It’s abundant in my state, and we extract it with small, interconnected wells. Of course the eco-freaks told us we’d ruin our state, but the unobtrusive wells I see in the woods while fishing and hiking have ruined nothing. The gas revenues bring some well-needed prosperity to a hurting Michigan. The smaller wells are more affordable to construct, and the lower costs present an opportunity for many average earners like me to invest in, automatically sharing the wealth as a free market should.
Last time I checked, 14% of the oil we refine came from the ME. In short order, with a little effort, this oil could be replaced by increasing NGas production and conversions; NGas auto production to follow. This is a cleaner and more realistic bridge to future hydrogen vehicles than electric hybrids are. Encourage this! Learn!
Adjust the price of wheat shipped to the middle east to reflect the price of oil!
first the general public will probably go on short rarions. 2nd, their is a house two halls in d.c. that needs to be cleaned and fumigated. .just as is being done in wis. the public will not get any help from the fiat gov, what have they except train load of iou’s. would think the nwo plan is working on population control and could be making the weather changes along with harrp and the chem spraying. if not man made who else could? one day at a time is about all i can handle. bert, west colo have faith and you have liberty.
