From the AP: Vandals desecrated 86 tombstones dating to the 1870s in a Jewish cemetery in London, spraying some of them with Nazi swastikas and racial slurs while knocking them over, police said Thursday.
The attack was reported a day after Hungarian authorities said about 130 tombstones were knocked down and broken at the Kozma Street Jewish Cemetery in Budapest. Culture Minister Andras Bozoki said the government would “provide all assistance” necessary to repair the tombstones.
TigerHawk notes: According to people who keep track of such things, there were more anti-Semitic acts in Great Britain last year than in any other year in the last twenty.

How could it be otherwise? To desecrate the Jewish cemetery is to desecrate the worlds of tradition, history, conscience, loyalty, family, honor, and respect. Flip ‘em all off at once, with one efficient gesture. The authorities have just the mere vandalism on their hands, there are no witnesses, and the victims can no longer fight nor flee. The only question is, why are the Dark Ages trying to make a comeback?

Far-right, Nazis, and the obligatory “anti” link. It is, I suppose, fair to link anti-semitism with Europe’s skinheads and other idiot neo-nazi groups but anti-semitism not limited, in Europe or anywhere else, to one side or other of the political spectrum. It is one of few things both sides agree on.

Paul Johnson had a great piece in the Opinon Journal today that talked about what is going wrong in Europe that is killing the EU dream. Part of the point was that they have forgotten their spirit/sould. Would that they would forget their hatreds.

Ah, it is just the skinheads. the problem with that idea is that the left of Europe and the skinheads spout the same filth regarding Israel and the Jews. Both sides gave currency to the lie that all the Jews callled in sick on 9-11. Both sides bought into the slamder that israel and the US are the two greatest evils in this world. The left in europe has embraced and given comfort to the most anti-sematic propaganda regarding the Jews and Israel. They both spout the slur that The American government is under the thumb of of Sharon and the neo-cons. The EU ordered a report on racism,the preamble of which ,went out of its way to mention skinheads and neo-nazis in connection with ant-semitism,but the report came to the conclusion that the largest group involved were muslims.
Reading the leftward press,such as the Guardian one would gain the impression that Europe is teeming with skinheads and neo-nazis.I haven’t seen a skinhead in twenty years and whilst the BNP might be right wing nationalists,their political power stems directly from opposition to third world immigration.
A case in point,as mentioned above a graveyard in Prestwich Manchester was desecrated,sadly desecration of all graveyards is in the increase,Prestwich was one of the areas in Manchester where prosperous Jewish families moved to,many from the Cheetham Hill area of the city centre.The latter was where most of the first generation Jewish immigrants came in the great diasporas of the 19th century.
As the earlier residents moved out so new immigrants moved it and now Cheetham Hill has a manly asian,mixed immigrant and poor white population.It is also an area where crime is high and drug dealers hold sway.Many of the gun battles in Manchester are between the Moss side gangs and the Cheetham Hill gangs.
Prestwich which is adjacent to Cheetham Hill is sseing a decline in the Jewish population as is common in most cities residents move away.
Those are the demographics of the situation ,I leave you to draw your own conclusions.

Sorry for all the incorrect spelling. I read these stories and I want to scream. If there are any Jews in Europe reading your blog I have one suggestion. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN. The governments in Europe will assure you that they are going to stop the abuse but they will not do anything to back up their promises. They will issue studies and they will hold seminars and they will talk the talk but in the end they will do nothing of substance to end the problem.I do not envision a Hitler like attempt to exterminate the Jews. I just see a slow, methodical death by a thousand cuts. They embrace Islamo-Fascists and feel sorry for their own Jewish citizens as they are picked off one by one. GET OUT!!!!!!!!!

I tend to agree with Kevin. Wasn’t it Sharon who got chastized for saying the same basic thing a year or so ago?
One day the descendants of the white Europeans will be the New Jews of the Eurabian world. How small of me is it to want to live to see that (though I wouldn’t wish on them the same results, just a deserved bit of sustained humiliation).

The amazing thing is the open contempt for the historic values of pluralism in matters of Religion that both the left of Europe and their radical Muslim co-conspirators spout without shame. The islamo fascists make no secret of the need to remove any open expression of Judaism from Europe and their fundraising for groups that openly call for the destruction of Israel. The left will not even dare to mention their Christian heritage in their constitution in their desire to eliminate any notion of their history and the development of their values. I am not talking about an establishment of a state religion but simply a historical tip of the hat to where their their sense of government springs from. Yet they willingly join hands with the groups that espouse a 13th century version of Islam that if allowed to fester in their countries will eventually destroy what they are trying to achieve. In their PC multi-culti blindness they are giving comfort to an ideology that has the destruction of any sense of western modernity as it’s first target. They bow and scrape to groups that despise them and allow these groups to attack an ancient religion that only wants to be left alone so they can practice their faith without feeling the need to wipe out other religions.
