The aide blanched, and objected. No one would believe a claim like that!

Now Harry Reid has joined the list. The Senate Majority Leader continues to allege – in remarks today on the Senate floor – that Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney paid no income taxes for a span of 10 years.
Reid says he was given this information by a former investor in Romney’s firm, Bain Capital. But the senator admitted to the Huffington Post that he doesn’t know if the information is true, and he won’t release the name of his source.
If the story isn’t true, asks Reid, then why won’t Romney make his tax returns public?
“Let him prove he has paid taxes, because he hasn’t,” Reid said in the Senate today. “The word’s out that he hasn’t paid taxes for ten years.”

Well it’s a well know fact Reid make his million through the Nevada Gaming Commission. Got paid big for knocking people off they say. I wasn’t there of course but they all say it happened, must be true.

By the way, if Reid got this information from a “source” the “source” has committed a felony. If Reid got it from the IRS then both Reid and the IRS have committed a felony. Where is the FBI investigation? Any one out there on the Left concerned that this could happen to them? Hummmmm……
I have a theory as to why Romney doesn’t want to release his tax returns from more than two years ago. Maybe before that he was using an SSN he stole from some dead guy in Connecticut.

Romney, like all Americans, files his tax returns with the IRS. Let’s not forget that the IRS is part of the executive branch and works for Obama.
Anyone who imagines that IRS employees have NOT been going over Romney’s returns with a fine-toothed comb for the past six months is incredibly naive.
That is to say, if there were ANYTHING wrong with his tax returns (much less skipping them for ten years) we would have heard about it from Axelrod & Co. long ago.

I suggest you look at how Mitt got over 100 Million in his IRA and also look at why he did not include his Federal Foreign Account holdings in his 2010 taxes he showed us (big hint: Tax Amnesty).
That is why we should have term limits, if the President can only have 8 years, then the rest of them should have only 2 terms also..and they should only be there to do the peoples business and leave, and the pay should be only 50,000. and no benefits for life,after your term is up you go home and get a job like everyone else.

Let’s see Senator Reid’s tax returns for the last ten years. I have it on good authority that he takes every deduction he’s entitled to (and some of them he voted into law himself! He even takes those deductions he voted against! What a hypocrite!).

I can refute Dingy Hairy’s assertion that Romney paid no taxes in three words – Alternative Minimum Tax (the ATM). No matter how many loopholes, deductions, write offs you have, you run into the ATM. It was passed by congress in 1986 because back then there were some millionaires that had not paid taxes in one or two years. So anybody that has hit the ATM knows that unless you are poor, you are going to at least pay the ATM.
Of course everyone knows that ‘Sen’. Harry Reid is a consummmate, inveterate,
congenital liar. And now in addition to his Nevada real estate dealings with
the underworld, several people have called Glenn Beck [as the Bain Capital
'employee' did] to reveal that ‘Sen’. Harry Reid is a pedophile.
Well, we suppose for Democrats, that’s no big deal. After all….shades of Weiner, Clinton and Edwards come to mind.

It’s pretty obvious who Senator Harry Reid owes his allegeance to…. the democratic party. Anyone that would vocally promote an outright lie about a fellow member of the same organized religion they belong to certainly doesn’t follow any moral or ethical “compass” I am familiar with. Having lived in Kalifornia my entire life I am used to having no political representation at the state and federal level but why in Heaven’s name did the voters in Nevada put this waste of human DNA back in office?

It’s a really dumb lie because the only way Reid knows that Romney has a Swiss Bank account is that he declared it on his tax forms. Obviously, the Democrats desperately need to delve into the companies that Romney invested in to find something to smear him with. Meanwhile, Obama or Reid could shoot someone in the face on the floor of the senate and it would never even make the papers. Astonishing how easily America bows to the communists and fascists in our midsts.
Time for Romney to counter-attack: sue Harry Reid for malicious slander. Since he refuses to name his source, the presumption is that Reid himself is the source, and since the statement is demonstrably false with the intent to injure Romney’s reputation, it constitutes willful slander.
That reprehensible old goat certainly ought be shown the pasture…or the knackers yard. Again, the media fawn over him and he can say nothing wrong, or even silly, so great is his power over them!
