Don’t Celebrate Eric Holder’s Pending Departure

February 12th, 2014 - 4:55 am

Nobody should celebrate the announcement that Attorney General Eric Holder will be leaving the administration this year. Whoever replaces Holder will be just as radical and ideological. What the replacement will enjoy, however, is a clean slate. Some will naively assume a new attorney general means a fresh start and an attorney general better than Holder.

Don’t fool yourself. The best thing that could happen for President Obama is for Holder to go and be replaced by someone just like him. He’ll get the good without the bad.

Holder’s replacement will be just as radical as Holder.  We’ve seen it over and over.  Replace the radical and lawless Hilda Solis at Labor with the even more radical and lawless Tom Perez.  Replace Leon Panetta with the certifiable Chuck Hagel.

If the Senate Republicans were willing to go to war over any replacement, and if the House was willing to defund the most radical decisions of DOJ, it might be different.

But we know that isn’t going to happen.

So even after Eric Holder is gone, the Civil Rights Division will be just as racialist and lawless. The Criminal Division will still refuse to prosecute election gangsters like Melowese Richardson in Ohio who proudly said on camera she voted six times for President Obama in 2012. It will still refuse to prosecute large banks for criminal conspiracy because they are “too big” to prosecute.

Holder’s replacement will still refuse to do anything about IRS employees who gave confidential tax information of pro-family groups to ProPublica, in naked violation of criminal laws.

The solicitor general under Obama will still argue that laws on the books may be ignored by an imperial presidency and that religious liberty is not so important.

The Civil Rights Division will still attack peaceful abortion protesters and voter ID laws in court.

The Tribal Justice unit at DOJ will still argue that sovereign oppressed Indian nations should be given more power at the expense of the United States.

And, think, this situation will go on for years even with conservative presidents and congresses because we're dealing with 'unionized' civil servants who will stay radicalized regardless of who's in office.

Mr. Adams, how much of the workforce at the DoJ is protected from removal from their positions by a new administration? Should such a political correction occur in November 2016, is it even legally possible to sweep away the radicals currently embedded there? I know that over here at State we're tenured after 3-5 years, and essentially become part of the furniture, for better or worse. If PJM readers could see the politically correct and leftist cable writing at State, and dhimmi mindset of the entrenched brass, they would despair. Does the DoJ operate under the same system, or could a new, constitutionally-minded president truly change the status quo there.

Thank you for your articles. Writing by someone knowledgable and from the inside is very welcome, and is one of the reasons I look for your articles when I come to PJM.

Well, under the precedents established by Obama, a Republican president could suspend civil service.

Well of course the Republicans won't do anything. Like the majority of whites they are terrified of being called racist. Opposing anti-white policies and especially anti-white individuals like Eric "My people" Holder would be guaranteed to be called racist. Until the majority of whites or a majority of white Republicans are willing to stand up to such attacks and even support America's identity as a white country, then they will continue to slide into oblivion, especially now that the GOP didn't fight against the abolition of the fillibuster. But hey, as long as the fat cat leadership of the GOP gets their secret bank accounts and runs away to their hardened and fortified rich white enclaves a la South Africa, its all good. Right?

Could it be that Holder is going to continue screwing up the country until the November elections, and then leave office before Congressional oversight committees with new Republican leadership mount serious investigations of his unconstitutional actions? Sort of like Hilarious Clinton without the large posterior!

Always assume the worst case, and you will never be disappointed :)

I have a suspicion who it will be, but it is too horrifying to mention, in case it gives them some ideas :(

Why does it seem that Obamas minions come in do their job of destruction and then get to leave clean as a whistle with more money in their pocket?

I suspect they are doing this 1) to get Holder out of the picture before Harry Reid has to pass the gavel and, 2)To get Holders replacement confirmed by a Democrat Senate.
