‘Someone’s a Little Protective, Eh?’

As with much of the MSM, Time magazine has decided that it would rather protect the Anointed One, than actually sell magazines, at least in the American marketplace.

“Time Mag’s Top Editor Quits Journalism, Joins Obama Admin,” Warner Todd Huston writes at Big Journalism. The headline is dated yesterday, but it’s actually a perennial, that could have been written anytime from 2007 until the present day.

But then, as the MSM’s fortunes continue to circle the drain, perhaps you can’t blame its staffers for lining up future job prospects.

I would suggest that the Times editors have a better feel for the pulse of this country. Most people in this country couldn't care less about the details of foreign policy or our nation's standing in the world. No, they care more about Miley Cyrus' twerking or weekend gridiron hijinks. It's all about bread and circuses.
