Unintended Consequences

This is excellent news:

Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year.

That’s directly from The Savior’s transition propaganda site, as quoted by Coyote Blog.

I couldn’t come up with a more effective way to throw away the youth vote for a generation if I spent a year working on it.

Just try and tell a bunch of teenagers and college students that they’re ordered to do, well, anything. Almost all of them will hold it against you for the rest of their lives.
