As I Was Just Saying...

The AP offers up an example of why the press isn’t taken very seriously these days.

The second sentence of this story, by AP “reporter” Adam Geller begins, “He had almost no schooling in economics…”

As the correction linked above notes, Reagan graduated from Eureka College with a degree in social science and economics in 1932. Guess it was too much to ask for Geller to, you know, check facts and stuff. After all, everybody knows Reagan was a dunce who didn’t know what he was talking about.

Everybody in the media, anyway.
