Death in the Desert

Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords shot dead, with six others, at a public event in Tucson.

The two times last year I spoke at Tea Party events in Tucson, nobody had a kind thing to say about Giffords. But nobody wanted this.

The best we can hope for is that this horrific mass murder wasn’t some “political” act.

Anyway, the killer is in custody and we’ll know soon enough.

UPDATE: Greg Hill tells me she’s still alive, but critical and in surgery. No word on the other six victims.
