Who's to Blame?

The talk on FNC right now claims that in early polls, sef-identified anti-war voters are choosing Kerry over Dean.

A lot of Dean’s apparent collapse in Iowa is obviously Dean’s own fault. But how much of it can be directly attributed to the media? For a week now, every channel and every paper has been trumpeting notoriousy unreliable polls to make the race more exciting.

Then, of course, the news becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
