Vote Rigging

You might have read comments from Ahmed Maher Al-Sayeed, Egypt’s foreign minister, in support of “democratically elected” Yasser Arafat. Mike Hendrix replies:

Uhh, Maher, buddy, can we talk? There ain’t ever been any such thing as a “democratically-elected Palestinian leadership.” Or at least, not yet. But don’t worry, we’re working on that.

Soon as possible, Mike. But will they vote for the homicidal killer who recognizes the ass-saving need for peace, or will they vote for a homicidal killer who doesn’t? But I do stand by this prediction: Arafat, if he does run, will not win.
