We Get Good Letters

Steve Ducharme writes in with the most pressing — yet previously unmentioned — matter in regard to colonizing Mars:

Since the discovery of water on the red planet a lot of blogging has been devoted to topics concerning logistics of travel and the possibality of colonization. Following this to it’s logical conclusion, one of the first food crops you would want to grow would have to be a water retaining starch.

Say… like a potato for instance.

Leading (naturally) directly to Vodka.

Talk about a status drink…

What would a bottle of Martian Vodka go for back here on Earth?

Absolut-ly priceless, Steve.

Another one: Having seen photos of Mars, I can promise you the biggest vodka on the rocks ever.

One more: Would that make a Red Russian?
