This week the PJTV/Pulse Opinion Research Tea Party Tracking Poll asked Likely Voters whether they anticipated a Republican party takeover of the House and Senate this November. 60% of Likely Voters Somewhat or Strongly Agreed that the GOP will gain control of the House, and 52% Strongly or Somewhat Agreed that the GOP will gain control of the Senate.
Even one in four Democrats (27%) Strongly or Somewhat Agreed that the GOP would gain control of the House. 24% of Democrats gave a comparable response for the Senate.
Key trends tracked each week by the Tea Party Tracking Poll were statistically unchanged this week from last week, with 56% of Likely Voters nationwide stating that they support the Tea Party movement Strongly or Somewhat, and 52% stating that they are Very or Somewhat Likely to vote for a candidate for Congress who is supported by the Tea Party movement.
