Original story.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard on Honolulu, Hawaii, is on lockdown after a reported shooting with multiple victims.

Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam reported that the shooting took place around 2:30 p.m. Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (7:30 p.m. Eastern).

“JBPHH security forces have responded to a reported shooting at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. Due to the ongoing security incident, access/gates to [the base] are closed,” the base announced on Twitter. “We will update when we have further information.”

A source told Fox News that first responders and security forces arrived at the scene and had “it under control as of now.”

Saturday will mark National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, commemorating the “day that will live in infamy” in 1941 when Japanese air forces killed 2,403, bringing the U.S. into World War II.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
