Hillary Clinton Reads 'Fire and Fury' at the Grammys

The woman who would be president embarrassed herself at the Grammys Sunday night. The awards show aired a skit with various artists reading from Michael Wolff’s book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.

“He had a long-time fear of being poisoned. One reason why he liked to eat at McDonald’s — nobody was coming and the food was safely pre-made,” Clinton said, reading a copy of Wolff’s book. She was later assured that her performance deserved an award: “the Grammy’s in the bag.”

Clinton’s appearance followed previous readings from five other celebrities: John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dog, Cardi B, and DJ Khaled. Liberals may think this a powerful rebuke of President Trump, but the president would surely just tweet a three-letter word: “SAD.”

His son, Donald Trump Jr., gave a powerful response. “Getting to read a #fakenews book excerpt at the Grammys seems like a great consolation prize for losing the presidency,” Trump Jr. tweeted.

Nikki Haley, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, also shot down the Fire and Fury sketch. “I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it. Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it,” Haley tweeted.

Haley has ample reason to dislike Fire and Fury. Many of the book’s accounts have been disproven, and recently Wolff himself suggested Trump was having an affair — with Haley! The UN ambassador powerfully shot down this baseless attack. This “disgusting” rumor only further damaged the book’s credibility.

Liberals in the #Resistance may think the sketch inspiring, but most Americans will recognize it for what it is — a desperate plea for attention from a sore loser.
