Obama: 'The 1980s Are Calling to Ask For Their Foreign Policy Back'

It’s 2012 all over again, but this time, the roles are reversed. With the Obama administration officially imposing sanctions and expelling 35 Russian diplomats from Washington, D.C., Obama seems poised to repeat the Cold War, whether or not this is a fitting response to alleged hacking.

Now, it’s President-elect Donald Trump’s turn to repeat President Obama’s words to Mitt Romney in 2012: “The 1980s are calling to ask for their foreign policy back.” It turned out that Romney was right in his warnings about Russia. Will Trump’s rejection of those warnings be just as ill-fated as Obama’s dismissal of Russia in 2012?
