Life can be really, really cruel sometimes. For the Social Justice Warrior waking up on Wednesday morning, to see #HeterosexualPrideDay trending on Twitter must have been excruciating torture. But don’t take my word for it, check out these tweets instead.
Yes, #HeterosexualPrideDay, i.e. a day when the non-gay among us can celebrate our sexual orientation, is an insult to those pushing “equality” because the straight majority is not an “oppressed class.” It’s just like the idea that people of certain races can’t truly be racist, merely because they lack “power.” I’m not saying gays do not face hatred or discrimination — many Islamist countries still put them to death! — just that the whole “love wins” mantra rings hollow when public sexual celebration is limited to one side.
When gay pride parades come around, people celebrate public displays of affection, but even mention #HeterosexualPrideDay on Twitter, and people will threaten to stone straight people kissing in the street. “Love is love” seems a bit one-sided, at times.
Anyway, here are the tweets that sent #HeterosexualPrideDay trending, and the crazed, angry responses of the liberal masses. The hashtag is kept trending mainly by the anger of SJWs who keep tweeting their annoyance at the hashtag, thus propelling it even further. Very few people are actually celebrating #HeterosexualPrideDay, it’s the outrage machine that keeps it going.

15. Gotta love the equal opportunity mockery. Well done, Stephen Crowder.
Truth is #GayPride and #HeterosexualPrideDay are all silly. That’s the point. “Hey society, I prefer THIS friction!”
— Steven Crowder (@scrowder) June 29, 2016
16. But of course, it all comes down to needless outrage.
I love hashtags like #HeterosexualPrideDay that are 99% people condemning a hashtag. Our outrage creates our outrage.
