Notorious RBG Says Kaepernick's Protests 'Dumb and Disrespectful'

Lefty darling and Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg is not on board with the latest sports trend of taking the knee during the national anthem to protest the racist police.

Speaking to Yahoo News’ discredited “journalist” Katie Couric, Ginsberg said: “I think it’s really dumb of them,” referring to the athletes who’ve followed in Kaepernick’s footsteps and refused to stand while the national anthem is played.

“Would I arrest them for doing it? No,” elaborated the justice.

“I think it’s dumb and disrespectful. I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning. I think it’s a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn’t lock a person up for doing it. I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act.”

“If they want to be stupid, there’s no law that should be preventive,” she said. “If they want to be arrogant, there’s no law that prevents them from that. What I would do is strongly take issue with the point of view that they are expressing when they do that.”

RBG’s remarks are a surprising defense of the First Amendment from the left side of aisle. Would she say the same about those who hold a non-leftist opinion on “climate change”?
