Democrats Shouldn't Be So Quick to Throw Out 5th Amendment While Hillary Is the Nominee

On the same day that House Democrats are staging a pants-wetting tantrum sit-in aimed at stripping away due process, Hillary Clinton’s IT specialist invoked the Fifth Amendment 125 times during a 90-minute deposition.

Hillary Clinton IT specialist Bryan Pagliano invoked the Fifth more than 125 times during a 90-minute, closed-door deposition Wednesday with the conservative watchdog Judicial Watch, a source with the group told Fox News.

The official said Pagliano was working off an index card and read the same crafted statement each time.

“It was a sad day for government transparency,” the Judicial Watch official said, adding they asked all their questions and Pagliano invoked the Fifth Amendment right not to answer them.

Pagliano was a central figure in the set-up and management of Clinton’s personal server she used exclusively for government business while secretary of state. The State Department inspector general found Clinton violated government rules with that arrangement.

Irony much?

The media loves to talk about the historic nature of Mrs. Bill’s candidacy. After all, the nominees of the major parties don’t usually have this much FBI heat on them. If ever a party and its candidate needed the Fifth Amendment, it’s this party and this candidate.

It would be easy to write this off to sheer stupidity, as most of what the Democrats do daily is moronic. However, they are savants about clinging to oppressive power. What they seek to do with things like the no-fly list and gun rights is find a way that the federal power structure alone can be the arbiter of who gets rights and who doesn’t. In their perfect world, everyone in the NRA suddenly gets thrown on the no-fly list, but Dame van der Cankles and her gang of criminals can play duck and cover behind the Fifth.

Justice for me and not for thee, in other words.

The Soviet Union isn’t dead, kids. It just moved across an ocean to put itself back together under a different banner.
