American voters, by an incredible margin, say President Obama has no clear plan to defeat ISIS. Strike that. According to them, he doesn’t merely have “no clear plan,” he has no plan at all, clear or unclear.
According to a new CBS News poll, only 23% of Americans believe the president has a strategy to defeat the radical Islamic killers, while 66% know better.
Large majorities of Republicans and independents say the President doesn’t have a clear plan… More Democrats (45 percent) say he doesn’t have a plan than say he does.
Here’s the truth. Obama either has no idea what he’s doing or simply doesn’t care about Islamic terrorism. Any other president would do everything in his power to wipe ISIS off the face of the earth, but not Obama. All he does is travel to Turkey and other countries, where he proceeds to insult those who dare utter the words “radical Islamic terrorism,” calling them unAmerican and shameless.
Voters have seen enough of this and demand action. According to the poll, 50% now support sending in ground troops. That’s up four points from August. The reason? Voters understand that ISIS cannot be destroyed by a few air attacks alone — the only “strategy” Obama seems to have.

In other words, the tide has turned rather quickly on doves like the president. The Paris attacks have reminded Americans that the Islamic terror threat is still very much alive. They now realize that ISIS not only poses a threat to the Middle East, but also to the homeland, and they demand bold plans from their leaders.
Of course they won’t get such plans from Obama, but perhaps they’re wise enough to elect a Republican next year. In the meantime, all we can do is watch the world burn and listen to Obama’s fiddling.
