Alinsky Tactics: Dem Lawmakers Mischaracterize Dana Loesch's NRA Ad

UNITED STATES - JUNE 6: Sens. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., right, and Ron Wyden, D-Ore., conduct a news conference in the Capitol saying that the Republican heath care plan cuts "hundreds of billions from Medicaid and middle-class tax credits to pay for massive tax breaks for the wealthy and special interests" on June 6, 2017. Dana Loesch’s recent spot for the National Rifle Association, filmed before the attack in Alexandria, doesn’t pull any punches. It calls out the mainstream media’s continued bias and whitewashing of leftist violence, telling supporters to fight back with “the clenched fist of truth.”

Anyone with half a brain can understand that’s a metaphor. Check out the video yourself:

Of course, always looking to demonize, the Left intentionally misread her statement:

Hmm. There was no mention of a chill down Newsom’s spine when he learned a Bernie Bro had tried to gun down Republican lawmakers after explicitly asking if he was at the Republican practice.

Newsom’s response wasn’t the dumbest, however:

No, Chris Murphy doesn’t actually think that.

Nor does he think you’re dumb enough to think he thinks that.

He just doesn’t care. He’s an amoral Alinskyist who thinks such dehumanizing tactics are fine.

The kicker here is that Loesch’s video was released back in April, and only now is the Left attempting this smear. Why? To shift attention away from the fact that a progressive tried to massacre Republicans. You can bet that someone at a Leftist PR agency looked at everything they could, trying to find something suitable to lie about to reframe the Right as violent — not the Left.

Of course, they wouldn’t need to make up crap about Loesch’s video if they actually had evidence of a wave of violence from the Right.

Where are Newsom and Murphy when leftists explicitly argue in favor of violence against Trump supporters, and then actually do it?

A misread metaphorical comment is somehow more likely to incite violence than explicit arguments in favor of violence that have already inspired violence? Only the truly stupid, the truly partisan, or those who fall into both camps will see her comments as anything else.

To them, however, I offer a metaphor as well: picture me with a raised middle finger.

And no, Chris, it doesn’t literally mean anything about a screwdriver.
