The president of the University of Texas at Arlington is speaking out against concealed carry on campus. That’s his right, of course, as a citizen. But he doesn’t have the right to use taxpayer-funded university resources, or the university’s name, to promote his political agenda. He is using taxpayer-funded resources — namely, the university’s website and email blast system — to promote his politics.
