As buzzards circled around Hillary Clinton’s dying campaign over the weekend, Vice President Joe Biden met with left-wing darling Sen. Elizabeth Warren (aka Fauxcahontas) in his residence at the Naval Observatory.
CNN reported that Warren and Biden “discussed economic policy during a meeting that lasted about two hours.”
A person familiar with the discussion told CNN that “the presidential campaign or Biden’s future” was not the focus of the discussion.
Uh-huh. He singled out Senator Warren to have a private meeting with him on economics — just out of the blue for no particular reason whatsoever.
Beloved by liberal Democrats, Warren decided to sit out a campaign of her own, but she has yet to formally endorse a candidate. In an interview on Friday, she told WBZ in Boston: “I don’t think anyone has been anointed.”
Well — no one has been anointed YET.
“I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of (Obama making) an endorsement during the Democratic primary,” White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said during a press briefing, adding that the President held Biden in very high regard.
Making Biden his running mate in 2008 “was the smartest decision (Obama) ever made in politics,” Earnest said, explaining that “there’s no one in American politics today who better understands” what it takes to run for the nation’s highest office.
Earnest, however, stopped short of indicating whom Obama would actually endorse as his successor: Biden — if he chose to run — or his former secretary of state, Hillary Clinton.
Meanwhile, the situation looks dire for Ma-Clinton, as every news cycle exposes more and more of her perfidy.
On Sunday, the embattled Clinton campaign trotted out former Democrat Congresswoman Ellen Tauscher to flack for Hillary on Fox News. As Shannon Bream grilled Tauscher, the Democrat went from cocky, to nervous, to a near nervous breakdown.
Her arguments are not the story here. You’ve heard them before, and they are not convincing. The story here is the poor woman’s terrified FACE:
