[VIDEO] John Kerry Will Share a 'Big Hug' with Paris During Visit

Said the secretary of State during a news conference on Thursday, “My visit to France is basically to share a big hug with Paris and express the affection of the American people for France and for our friends there, who have been through a terrible time and I don’t feel any other exigencies other than a continuation of our friendship and our responsibilities as good friends and the longest ally in our history and that is why I am going.”

Secretary of State John Kerry (or any American representative) finally got himself to Paris following the massacre of 17 people at the hands of Islamic extremists. Kerry, President Obama, and even Attorney General Eric Holder  (who was actually in Paris at the time) were absent from the Unity March in Paris on Sunday.
