Yesterday, President Obama made a fundraising appearance at the posh St. Regis Hotel, his first appearance since the Democrats’ defeat in the November 2014 elections.
The event was a fundraiser for the Democrat National Committee. Approximately 30 attendees were there for the high dollar price of $32,400 a head.
Perhaps one of the attendees might be a future ambassador?
Many Democrats blamed Obama for their losses in November because he was at record unpopularity levels, as was his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare.
Despite Obama’s fundraising and the millions of dollars raised by the DNC, the Democrats suffered a humiliating defeat at the ballot box. Democrats are replenishing their bank account with the hope of having better luck in 2016.
