Romney opens the segment by detailing his and President Obama’s “very different” view of America. Romney goes straight on offense, taking after the 1998 audio of Obama that surfaced earlier today. In that audio, Obama says that “I believe in redistribution” of wealth. Obama has consistently held to that view since at least 1998, and echoed them during his famous streetside conversation with Joe the Plumber in 1998. Only in 2011 and 2012 has Obama denied that he is using the presidency to spread the wealth around.
