Any Guess Which Network Will Make the Mistake of Hiring Olbermann Next?

So apparently ex-CNN, ex-ESPN, Ex-Fox Sports, ex-MSNBC host Keith Olbermann may soon be adding another ex to his collection. Via Forbes’ media reporter Jeff Bercovici:

Some people are more prone to patterns than others. If Keith Olbermann’s career were a movie, it would be “Groundhog Day.”

The talented, temperamental TV host has made an art form of leaving jobs in a cloud of flying debris, little cartoon squiggly anger lines radiating from his brow. And it looks like it’s about to happen again.

In recent days, a curious drama has played out in public view between Olbermann and his bosses at Current TV. Although he’s supposed to be the network’s marquee talent, Olbermann has been M.I.A. during a number of live broadcasts from the campaign trail. Olbermann has let it be known that his absence has not been voluntary, promising viewers that he’d be back on the air for Tuesday night’s Iowa caucuses, only to have his show preempted. When Current’s management attempted to downplay the conflict by saying it had been Olbermann’s choice to take the night off, Olbermann publicly called them out, saying he was “not given a legitimate opportunity to host under acceptable conditions.” He didn’t make it clear what that was supposed to mean.

I think there’s really only one place where Keith might be able to stabilize himself (and the country’s non-Marxist inhabitants might be able to appreciate his antics):
