If you ever wondered how the Borg pay the bills over at Media Matters, John Nolte at the Bigs has an answer.  He reports that the Service Employees International Union gave the left wing website with Pravda’s pedigree $50,000 after Media Matters saved their skin.  The check came just after Media Matters provided critical exculpatory coverage of the beating of Tea Party activist Kenneth Gladney by SEIU thugs.  Now we know how snake oil salesmen like Matt Gertz and Brian Powell pay their rent.
