Who’s Racist Now?

You know the drill by now:

• Fox News is conservative.
• The Tea Party is conservative and racist.

So it logically follows that Fox must be racist.

Then why is Fox News the only media outlet reporting on how America’s failing economy is destroying the Black middle class?

The unemployment situation across America is bad, no doubt. But for African-Americans in some cities, this is not the great recession. It’s the Great Depression.

(I did a search on “African American middle class eroding” and the only other media result was BET, which included only four short paragraphs from the Fox report and made the focus on Black victimization.)

This highly-recommended, in-depth report references researchers and Black business leaders. It lays out the hard data: Blacks without criminal backgrounds are less likely to be called back on a job application than Whites with criminal backgrounds.

Said Duke University economist William Darity: “The differential in unemployment between blacks and non-blacks in the U.S. is perhaps one of the most dramatic indicators of discrimination in this society.”

There’s only one reason liberal media won’t cover this: As Obama’s approval ratings plummet, perhaps his media allies want  to minimize the potential of Blacks fleeing Uncle O’s plantation.

Now that’s racist.
