Rick Perry Just Dropped A Whopper but Nobody Noticed

Fourth graf from USA Today‘s “will he/won’t he” report on the Texas governor:

But his wife, Anita, and hundreds of people across the nation say they want him to run, he said. He told the Register he would likely decide within the next two or three weeks.

Perry just took away the “my wife won’t let me” excuse — without anyone pressuring him on it. He seems to have just up and volunteered it.

I take that to mean: Perry is in. He’s just waiting for the moment to make it official.
