Yet more on the idiotic plan to send guns south of the border

Rep. Darrell Issa, (R-Calif.) Chairman on the House Committee on oversight and government reform is at it again. He’s scheduled more hearings on the — well I’d call it controversial, but A. it was stupid and B. journalists overuse that term — “Operation Fast and Furious.”

You will recall this is the idiotic operation which sent guns into the hands of the Mexican drug cartels in order to see if the ATF could catch the big fish. The problem is they only caught minnows.

June 15, Issa is going to be hearing from the family of murdered border agent Brian Terry, three ATF agents involved in the case and an assistant federal AG.

Let’s hope that at some point we can lower the boom not the morons who authorized this — idiotic just really doesn’t seem to be strong enough — operation.
