Queen Arianna, the job killer

AOL CEO Tim Armstrong has announced AOL is cutting 900 hundred jobs (700 in India and 200 domestic) following the company’s $315 million dollar purchase of the Huffington Post. As part of the deal, Huffington became Queen of It All at AOL (president and editor-in-chief of all HuffPo and AOL content.)

Said Armstrong: “She is fearless, and she wants to do great things. I didn’t know her that well, but we had spoken on a few panels together. She approached me saying that we had a similar vision.” (AOL gives me forty percent of their money, all of the power and you shut up.)
