RNC names Bill Crocker its general counsel

Chairman Reince Priebus couldn’t have made a better choice.

Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus today announced the appointment of Texas National Committeeman Bill Crocker as RNC General Counsel:

“I am thrilled to have someone on board with not only the legal and political expertise that Bill possesses, but also someone who is an expert on the nuts and bolts of this committee. His long service in Republican politics and experience at the grassroots level makes him an ideal choice as we continue to grow our Party. I am confident Bill and his team will provide the RNC with effective guidance as we amass the necessary resources to put on a world-class convention in Tampa and make Barack Obama a one term president. I look forward to working closely with Bill as we continue to turn this committee around.” – RNC Chairman Reince Priebus.

I first met Bill two years ago when I moved back to Texas and he was already serving as the state’s national RNC committeeman, and have found him to be wise, generous and honest. He’s a conservative’s conservative and will serve the RNC well.
