I can’t say I ever cared who wrote O: A Presidential Novel. But if you did, it turns out the author is Mark Salter, one of McCain’s 2008 speechwriters. Kind of figures, I guess, since the novel doesn’t present Obama as the radical that he actually is. McCain’s posse never did seem to know who they were really dealing with.
