In last week's episode, Kevin and I decided that we were going to enjoy the World Cup as much as we could even though we're not soccer guys. That was before we got to see all of the international visitors who are here for the tournament and absolutely falling in love with the United States of America.
Now we're really hooked.
Our new international friends are taking to social media in droves to profess their joy at being here. There's Freddy from Germany, the Japanese guy who went crazy for Texas barbecue, and the hot Swedish chick (redundant, I know) whose life has been transformed by her discovery of ranch dressing.
Many of our enthusiastic guests admit that they've had a lot of misconceptions about the US. That's because American progressives are Euro-fetishists who love to go over there and trash their own country. The international World Cup fans who can't stop singing the Republic's praises are actually more patriotic Americans than your average American leftist.
Yeah we had fun with this one. Oh, Brokeback's trainer now has a name: Erico. And Brokeback was thrilled to be properly ridden for two weeks in a row.
