Honestly, I'm not sure that I should even be writing this column. Most of my readers these days are conservative MAGA types, after all. According to the Coastal Media Bubble™ elites, the MAGA folks are in the midst of a huge breakup.
Wait, it's not a breakup, it's a "split," according the the aforementioned media hacks.
The quickest way to tell that orders for a false narrative about Republicans have been issued by the Democratic National Committee is to look for the ad nauseam repetition of key words or phrases. When the social media trolls and the headlines in all of the Dem-friendly media outlets are flooded with these words or phrases, it's pretty much an admission that instructions have been given by the DNC's Astroturf specialists.
Democrats need to keep things simple for their rabid, frothing minions, hence the one or two word scripts. Actually, it's not just the trolls and media lapdogs they dumb things down for; the DNC also doesn't want to present any intellectual challenges to leadership. It's best to minimize things like concepts and syllables when relying on the likes of Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jefferies to make the party's case.
This holiday season, the "MAGA split" is all the rage over in Lefty Land. We're falling apart because people are leaving the Heritage Foundation to join Mike Pence's think tank, or something. No, really:
The mere mention of Pence proves that this isn't a MAGA story at all. Sorry lefties, the "split" you've been fapping over for weeks isn't a thing. https://t.co/VNlXqjX603

I don't even need to dive into the particulars because I know that anyone who is going to work for Pence had MAGA credentials that were dubious, at best. Every American leftist is convinced that we all spend most of our time obsessed with Heritage. What the heck, let them keep thinking it.
Once again, we see the Dems' hive mind struggle with the concept of a political party that can withstand internecine squabbles and the occasional defection. It's too different from the Borg-like reality that they experience on the American left.
The "MAGA split" narrative really heated up when Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that she would be exiting the Capitol Hill premises early, as if she were the glue holding a fragile coalition together. This would be the same Marjorie Taylor Greene who they spent years regularly dismissing as some sort of crazy cat lady who shouldn't be allowed in polite society. After a few harsh words about President Trump during her farewell announcement, Notorious MTG was suddenly their beacon of reason in a world gone mad.
The thread running through the MGT exit drama is that she wouldn't be able to withstand a primary challenge from a Trump-endorsed, MAGA candidate. Her departure proves the opposite of what the Democrats think it does. Six months from now, we're barely going to notice that she's joined The View.
There is no point in trying to explain reality to any of the leftists in America, because they're all allergic to it.
We're fine. We're enjoying the Christmas season. And we hope that Mike Pence and his new Heritage buddies enjoy antiquing in Vermont.
