A sensitive liberal author with an acute case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) took to Twitter over the weekend to express that her fragile psyche is placed in peril by any red baseball cap and also to let everyone know that she may be beyond help (LANGUAGE WARNING):
Is anyone else made really uncomfortable these days by anyone wearing any kind of red baseball cap? Like, I see one and my heart does weird shit and then I finally realize it only says Titleist or whatever. Maybe don't wear red caps anymore, normal people?

Here is a woman who is making a sad public cry for help insisting that those like her are the “normal people.”
I do find the complete lack of self-awareness on the Left to be an endless source of entertainment. The bucket loads of schadenfreude they deliver every day are amusing as well.
Becky’s reasoning for her being on the side of normalcy is the boilerplate liberal bigotry that’s a result from a complete lack of exposure to the real world:
If you’re here to be contrary: an equivalent here would be western Hindus choosing not to use the swastika symbol in public despite it being sacred to their faith because it would offend/frighten people. The red hat has become a symbol of hate bc of how its wearers act.

Over in the parallel universe where Becky resides, every American who has ever worn a MAGA hat behaves exactly the same way.
Also, Becky has never been anywhere near someone wearing a MAGA hat. I don’t know that for certain, but it’s become rather easy to toss around sweeping generalizations about the TDS Hive Mind these past few years. I know that’s the very same thing I’m accusing her of here but — as I’ve mentioned before — everything with the Left is projection these days.
We could continue to make light of Ms. Makkai’s emotional stuntedness, but all libs are just whiny toddlers in adult bodies.
There are things worth worrying about out there, however:

OK then, off to buy a red hat.
