As has been pointed out by many tonight, if the Trump supporters had merely cheered Cruz’s words about freedom and not had a meltdown over the lack of a specific endorsement, the night would have been an all-around success. Sadly, the the most devout Trump people seem overwhelmed by an urge to be aggrieved sore winners. There were a couple of things to like about Christie when he first came on the scene, now he’s just a wearisome boor.
