Viral Angry Woman Goes Off on 'First-World Communists': STFU

There's a video I've seen going around on X over the last few days of a Venezuelan woman getting pretty mouthy about politics. And rightfully so.

I tried to figure out exactly who she is without much luck, but it doesn't matter. She could be AI for all I care — her message is one that everyone needs to hear, especially the self-appointed socialists and communists who live a privileged life here in the United States or Europe.

"There is nothing that annoys me more than a f**king communist from the First World," she begins. "They have no f**king idea what's going on in Nicaragua. They have no f**king idea what's going on in Venezuela, but they think that they can explain to the citizens of those countries what actually happens there because they know it better."

She continues, "Those sons of b****es from Italy, Switzerland, France, and Spain come over here and tell you what communism is and why it's good. You know what's good? That you, you damned communist, shut your f**king mouth. When you're starving, then you can come and talk to me about communism, you idiot."

Harsh language? Yes. But it needs to be said over and over and over again. I've been lucky enough to avoid living under these leftist ideologies in my lifetime — and I'm guessing the majority of you haven't had to either, nor have most Americans — but for some reason, there are an awful lot of people in our country and in Europe who are way too comfortable telling you how it is, even know they've never experienced it firsthand.

Those of us who know better have learned through history. We've learned from the stories of people who did live under these ideologies, be it our parents and grandparents or some random lady shouting online. Heck, just over the last year, as I've taken a deeper dive professionally into the socialist and communist regimes that plague Latin America, I've learned more than I ever have from listening to, say, Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez or Zohran Mamdani, preach about it from their golden thrones.

And it's not just the left. As I was writing this, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) decided she'd stand up for the commie that has taken Venezuela hostage, Nicolás Maduro. On Monday morning, she posted the following on X:

Here are some interesting facts about Venezuela that are easily searchable. Venezuela is a predominantly Catholic country with very strong laws against abortion with the exception being the life of the mother. Maduro has been critical of Israel calling it a genocide in Gaza and against Zionism. Maduro’s opposition, Maria Corina Machado is a strong supporter of Israel and wants to restore strong relations with Israel. She is more left leaning on abortion and LGBTQ issues.

I get that she's not an Israel fan, she's an isolationist, and she has no interest in any sort of "conflict" or "regime change" in Venezuela, and I can respect that. I don't agree with her on this, especially considering that Venezuela's problems have spilled into our country on levels many don't even realize, but I get it. I was once just like her in some ways. But she's going about making her case the wrong way and leaving out a lot of key information.

One of my go-to sources, writer and political expert Emmanuel Rincón, who happens to be Venezuelan himself, responded to her, pointing out that MTG is either incredibly ignorant or she is selectively choosing to ignore the full story behind her "interesting facts."

Hello Marjorie, I see that you have now formally joined the list of spokespeople for Maduro’s narco-terrorist regime. That comes as no surprise—you were taking too long. Here, I will debunk one by one the fallacies you just wrote:

Abortion has been illegal in Venezuela since 1926, not thanks to Maduro.

Yes, we are a Catholic society; therefore, we oppose anti-Christian communist regimes that persecute the Catholic Church. I don’t know if you were aware, but chavismo declared war on the Church more than a decade ago, persecutes priests, and opened the door to Santería and Islam.

María Corina Machado is a classical liberal. If you want to place her ideologically, the closest comparison would be President Milei—but I assume you prefer as an ideological ally someone closer to Kim Jong-un, like Maduro.

Venezuela is currently being infiltrated by Iran. Maduro granted 2.5 million acres to the Iranians, and within that territory there are Hezbollah and Hamas cells operating throughout Latin America. For obvious reasons, Israel would be a natural ally to expel Islamic terrorism from our country. Sorry for you and your new political tastes—we stand firmly in defense of Western values.

Lastly, poverty in Venezuela is around 85%. Children are dying of malnutrition. They don’t go to school because teachers earn one dollar a month. I assume that’s fantastic for you as long as Maduro wears a Palestinian scarf, but Venezuelans genuinely want to see our country progress—not to be lectured by people who have clearly sold their souls to the devil while pretending to teach us about our own country and our relationship with the United States.

That is just a scratch-the-surface look at that country. I don't point it out to make the case for anything we may or may not do to pressure or take out Maduro — that's irrelevant to this conversation — I'm saying it because it's what happens when socialism and/or communism takes over. Every. Damn. Time. Yet, somehow, so many people who live in the U.S. and many European countries still want to glorify it and perform their ideological cosplay while either being clueless about or willfully ignoring the reality on the ground.

(The next meeting of the Communist Club will be at the local Starbucks, where we'll drink $10 coffees and order some food we probably won't even finish! Be sure to bring your $1,500 phone so we can tweet about it and tell people in Venezuela what life under communism is really like!)

That's one reason why I write so much about this stuff, even when it's not popular, and it's why I'll continue pointing out examples like the woman in the video or the ignorance spewed by MTG or the countless political prisoners and people who are broke and hungry I've been writing about in recent months.

We have an actual real-time case study of what happens over the course of two and a half decades when communist ideologies are allowed to infiltrate and eventually take over a nation, and we'd be doing a disservice to ourselves not to learn from it.

It's not about the right way or wrong way to implement these ideologies. There is no such thing. Maduro isn't an accident. He was trained by Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez to become exactly what he is. Venezuela's military and intelligence communities were trained by Cuban experts, not on how to protect their own national security, but on how to oppress their own citizens.

We all love to repeat the quote "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." The real problem may be that too many people see exactly what's happening in the present, yet they still refuse to believe it.
