Egypt: Checking in with Sandmonkey

Egyptian blogger and frequent Pajamas Media contributor Sandmonkey is clearly among the multitudes in Tahrir Square today. He has been tweeting, probably via Google, and you can read his tweets here.

Sandmonkey, with whom I have frequently communicated (but unfortunately not now), describes himself on Twitter as a “Micro-celebrity, Blogger, activist, New Media douchebag, Pain in the ass!” He is also a smart guy, the son of a former Egyptian general and worth following during the crisis.
