Jane Fonda Wasn't Happy That Megyn Kelly Asked Her About Plastic Surgery

When celebrities are being interviewed on news programs, they often only want to discuss their latest project, but the interviewers usually want to highlight some scandal or gossip. When actress and infamous Vietnam War provocateur Jane Fonda appeared on Megyn Kelly’s new NBC show, it was a like a case study in this dichotomy.

Kelly said, “You admit you’ve had work done and I think it’s to your credit. You look amazing. I read that you said you’re not proud to admit you had work done. Why not?”

Flustered, Fonda responded to the question of how she keeps herself looking great: “Good attitude, good posture, take care of myself. But let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, ‘Our Souls at Night,’ rather than plastic surgery…”

Awkward!
