Democrat Rep.: 'If We're Going to Regain the Majority in 2018, We Have to Have New Leadership'

Rep. Filemon Vela (D-TX) has been making the media rounds, proclaiming that the Democrats should seriously consider replacing Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. He said the Californian isn’t helping them to have a chance in the swing districts “that are so necessary for us to win in 2018.” Vela has a point– many red staters consider Pelosi to be a coastal elite who talks down to them and doesn’t understand their values. And Democrats can’t win on blue states alone. But for Republicans’ sake, leave her in!
