Pres. Trump to the Sheriffs' Association: 'From the Bottom of My Heart, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You'

President Trump commended the law enforcement officers at the National Sheriffs’ Association, and said, “From the bottom of my heart, thank you, thank you, thank you.” He cited their commitment to the safety of the U.S. citizenry: “All of us here today are united by one shared mission, to serve and protect the public of the United States.” President Obama certainly never had a friendly relationship with police officers, so maybe Trump will forge a better connection.
