When Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush were running for the Republican nomination in 1980, they were asked about immigrants here illegally. Both of them responded that we need to fix our immigration system as a whole, but that these people should still be treated with respect and compassion. But they were clearly liberal fiends! Seriously… how is Trump their political successor?

This video is shocking. The way that Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush talked about immigration and the US/Mexico border in 1980 — during a presidential debate — you would think that they were Democrats. What has become of the Republican Party?
