Jonathan Turley on Bondi just now: "I don't think they've landed a glove on her so far. "
He also noted that the committee is trying to get her to dump on Kash Patel in anticipation of his own confirmation hearing.
Wait, wait, wait. Rubio has a kid in college? Mind blown.
The monthly test of the Emergency Broadcast System just interrupted the hearings on my TV.
This has always been a problem for me. #GoDawgs
My only problem with Rubio so far is being reminded that his son plays for the Florida Gators.
This is a country deeply in crisis after four years of the Biden administration abusing the Constitution. Dems questioning Bondi are leg-humping January 2021 rather than dealing with reality.

"We're going to take a five-minute break at noon. Not a Senate five minutes, but a real five minutes." —Sen. Risch
Earlier, I was wondering if they would take a bathroom break.
I’m glad Cruz just called the Democrats’ bluff, pointing out that the Biden administration has aggressively targeted its opponents.
Didn't we already ask won the 2020 election? Garland's DOJ wasn't Biden's law firm? God I am so sick of the posers, and Hirono sounds like a broken, wheezing pipe organ. Hawaii may be a blue state but they should be embarassed that they sent this person to Washington.
WHITEHOUSE: It would not be appropriate for a prosecutor to start with a name and look for a crime? It's a prosecutors job to start with a crime and look for a name, correct?

BONID: Senator, I think that is the whole problem with the weaponization that we've seen the last four… pic.twitter.com/eQTIvXXAAm
Does anyone remember if Democrat senators pestered “Rachel” Levine about being a potential sexual harasser like they’ve pestered the Trump nominees?
My heart doesn't need this aggravation, but I have at least three things I'm going to write about today that have been inspired by just the Bondi hearing.
Meanwhile, in other hearings...

Eh, that's a stretch. Trump is his own heavy and everyone knows it. This is from our own VodkaPundit:
"Nobody can out-Trump Trump, just like nobody could out-LeMay LeMay. Trump, in other words, is his own best attack dog — and there's nobody holding the leash. 'I'm nuts!' is a sound position to take when our current military forces might not be enough to deter a war."
It's pretty clear what role Rubio is gonna play in the Trump Administration: He's gonna be the resident hawk, always wanting to go to war, that Trump uses as the "heavy" in negotiations. "Guys, you better cut a deal, that Rubio is a wildman! I dunno if I can hold him back..."
He's gonna be Bolton II (but without the 'stache).
I half expect Dave McCormick to say, “If you’re caller #4 with the phrase that pays, you can win $5,000. But first, here’s Led Zeppelin.”
Bringing hostages home will remain a top priority. - Rubio.
Not sure if he's talking about the Trump admin or the United States in general, but either way, I like how he uses "we" when he talks. That pronoun might confuse the Dems.
The theme of my first two Morning Briefings this week has been that this isn't the time to play nice with the Dems. It's throat-punching and kneecapping time. Verbally of course (he's instructed by his attorney to clarify).
Here’s your weekly reminder that the January 6 protesters now in jail, some of them without trial let alone conviction, who have been accused of “violence” were the ones trying to save lives in the face of the police brutality that killed Rosanne Boyland. The ones who have been to jail for years are not the ones who looked like Antifa and were smashing windows with large weapons. They were the ones defending themselves and others from well-documented, deadly police brutality.
Let’s be honest— if the Trump administration really enforced our laws, especially the Constitution, much of the Biden administration (including Biden himself) would be going to jail for one reason or another. We all know that’s not going to happen, but it should.

Ugh, Tim Kaine is in Marco's hearing too? I wonder if he's going to ask if Rubio will ever hypothetically cheat on his wife.
"Chris Wray has done an outstanding job at avoiding political pressure" I have to duck out for a moment because every response I have to this line of questioning is expletive-laden.
This is infuriating. Bondi has got to throw these insane questions back in the faces of the Dems and remind them of what's been happening on their watch.
