Police in Mentor, Ohio, are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect in an incident that happened at the Mentor Public Library on Sunday.
According to a post on the Mentor Police Department’s Facebook page, an adult male dressed as a female entered the library, struck up “an unusual conversation” with a 14-year-old female and then “inappropriately touched her.”
According to Cleveland.com:
Surveillance cameras captured the man entering the library in the 8200 block of Mentor Avenue at 11:30 a.m. dressed in a black dress, wig and high heels.
The man struck up a conversation with the 14-year-old girl, police said.
The two joked about the man’s attire before he touched the teen inappropriately, according to police reports.
The man told the girl he was dressed like a woman as a joke, Molnar said.
He did not talk to anyone else during the 45 minutes he was in the library.
The suspect left without further incident and the girl was not physically harmed, according to police. They posted a video of the suspect on their Facebook page and are asking the public to help identify the man. If you have any information about him, you can contact Ptl. Greco at 440.974.5760.
