Black Lives Matter Platform Is a Marxist Horror Show

When Barack Obama stated on the eve of his election that he sought to “fundamentally transform the United States of America,” many wondered what he meant. What fundamental aspects of our nation required transformation? What did Obama intend to transform us into?

A coalition of fifty organizations calling themselves a “united front” in “the movement for black lives” released a comprehensive list of demands on Monday which suggests some answers. As you might imagine, it’s a Marxist horror show. From their introduction:

While this platform is focused on domestic policies, we know that patriarchy, exploitative capitalism, militarism, and white supremacy know no borders. We stand in solidarity with our international family against the ravages of global capitalism and anti-Black racism, human-made climate change, war, and exploitation. We also stand with descendants of African people all over the world in an ongoing call and struggle for reparations for the historic and continuing harms of colonialism and slavery. We also recognize and honor the rights and struggle of our Indigenous family for land and self-determination.

You get the idea. Obliterating any doubt as to the real agenda behind the Black Lives Matter movement, the coalition rebukes “those who claim to be our allies,” stating, “We reject false solutions and believe we can achieve a complete transformation of the current systems, which place profit over people and make it impossible for many of us to breathe.” In other words, look out Democrat establishment, because you’re nowhere near radical enough.

The platform breaks out into six categories. Under “End the War on Black People,” they call for removing police from schools, banning consideration of criminal history in employment and housing decisions, and an end to money bail among other things. Under “Reparations,” they demand “full and free access for all Black people” to “high quality educational opportunities,” including free and guaranteed admission to colleges and universities. The rest proves much the same, calling for massive wealth redistribution, an increased minimum wage, and an essential end to human liberty in the United States.
