Kim Kardashian Applauds Trump's 'Compassion' for Criminal Justice

WASHINGTON — Reality television star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian West applauded President Trump’s “compassion” for criminal justice reform at the White House on Thursday.

Kardashian announced a program that will grant former inmates ride-sharing gift cards to help them get to and from job interviews.

Kardashian was introduced by President Trump at the Second Chance Hiring and Re-entry event.

In December of 2018, Trump signed criminal justice reform legislation titled, “the FIRST Step Act.”
