Ted Cruz Attacks Obama over Islamic Terror: 'It's Just Nutty' to Say Islamic State Isn't Islamic

Senator Ted Cruz has completely had it with the Left’s attempts to whitewash Islamic terrorism. After the horrific attacks in San Benardino it quickly became clear that the shooters were radical Muslims. Instead of acknowledging that fact, the Left chooses to talk about possible “workplace violence” and the so-called dangers of the Second Amendment.

That’s clearly insane, but that’s how the modern Left rolls.

Speaking at a meeting of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Washington, D.C., Cruz took the Left — President Obama included — to task:

All of us are deeply concerned that this is yet another manifestation of terrorism, radical Islamic terrorism here at home.

The more information we get, the clearer it becomes that this was indeed an attack carried out by radicalized Muslims.

However, Obama and Hillary Clinton refuse to admit it. The reason is simple: they will do whatever it takes to push their leftist ideology on the American people. If that means innocent Americans have to die because of their refusal to face the facts, so be it. Their ideology trumps everything, innocent lives and reality included.

The most important step the government has to take right now is to admit that radical Islam is the problem, not “workplace violence” or the Second Amendment. That goes for the mass murders in San Bernardino and for the threat ISIS poses to the Middle East and the rest of the world. As Cruz said yesterday:

When the President says the Islamic State isn’t Islamic, that is just nutty.

Refusing to admit this rather obvious fact is more than nutty though, it’s downright dangerous.

Emphasizing the need for wartime leadership, Cruz pointed out how this president has failed to take the steps needed as Commander-in-Chief to protect the United States. Using President Ronald Reagan’s words, Cruz said his strategy “should be very simple — to defeat radical Islam. We win, they lose.”
