CNN’s Jim Acosta took a mean-girlish swipe at Sebastian Gorka at the White House Thursday, prompting the former Trump adviser to loudly call him a “di—head” in a room full of reporters.

According to Gorka, who recently debuted his Salem Radio Network show “America First,” the dust-up happened while he was waiting to meet with President Donald Trump.

“I was waiting inside the entrance of the Briefing Room for a private meeting with the president,” Gorka told The Daily Caller.

When Acosta saw him, according to Gorka, he walked over, touched his arm, and sneered, “Why are you here? This place is for journalists only,” then walked away.

“Abilio ‘Jim’ Acosta, you are a di—head!” Gorka thundered in response (Acosta’s first name is Abilio).

According to the Daily Caller’s Vince Coglianese, who was also at the White House at the time, “The whole room went silent as Gorka chewed [Acosta] out.”

The incident was also witnessed by fellow Salem host Mike Gallagher and Sirius Patriot XM host David Webb, who said, “I was right next to Sebastian and he reported accurately what Acosta said. Acosta was serious and condescending.”

Prior to that bizarre encounter, Gorka and Acosta had never officially met, Gorka told the Daily Caller.

“For the next 40 minutes, he hid in the back and didn’t come out as I was right by the exit, until I went to the Oval Office,” he said, adding, “Jim Acosta is actually worse than anyone imagined. He’s definitely not a journalist, and he is clearly a cowering coward. I just feel sorry for anyone who is in the White House pool with him and know he is hated by all the actual journalists in the White House.”

Gorka later posted a photo from his meeting with the president on Twitter:

He talked about the incident with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson on “America First” Friday afternoon.

Carlson thought the story was hilarious and called into question CNN CEO Jef Zucker’s judgment for making Jim Acosta the network’s White House correspondent.

“Wouldn’t you pick someone who could talk?” Tucker asked incredulously. “Why would you pick a dumb person?”

“Why not get an articulate person who actually can argue from principle?” Tucker continued. “I would give it to Tapper. You know, whatever you think of Jake Tapper, he’s not stupid. But Acosta is stupid. He’s dumb!”
