One of the Democratic Socialists who hounded Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen out of a D.C. Mexican restaurant Tuesday night is a current employee of the Department of Justice, it has been confirmed.
About a dozen members of the D.C. chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) crashed Nielsen’s meal, wielding pro-illegal immigrant placards and chanting “shame!”
“Kirstjen Nielsen, you’re a villain, locking up immigrant children,” the activists shriek in the video. “The f*ing gall. Shame on you. Sham, shame, shame, fascist pig!”

Allison Hrabar, who works for the Trump administration as a paralegal in the DOJ, was among the unhinged DSA mob. Another Trump administration employee initially tipped off The Daily Caller about Hrabar’s presence at the protest.

“A member got a text saying ‘Kirstjen Nielsen is eating nachos like ten feet from me,’” Hrabar, who is also a spokesperson for the Metro D.C. DSA, told The Daily Beast.
Less than 30 minutes later, about a dozen members of DSA were inside MXDC Cocina Mexicana, shouting at Nielsen while she tried to eat her Mexican dinner.
“Kirstjen Nielsen will want you to think that we are ruining your dinner,” Hrabar says in the video below.
She is the Secretary of DHS. ICE rips children away from their families every day. They lock them up in cages, they sleep under those silver blankets you guys get at marathons. These kids will never be reunited with their parents because Kirstjen Nielsen’s staff doesn’t think it’s necessary to make a plan to reunite them with their parents!
Hrabar went on to bemoan the diet of peanut butter tortillas and frozen sandwiches the children are forced to eat at the detention centers.
“No borders, no walls!” an activist cried angrily.
“Oppressed people have never been given their rights by asking politely,” Hrabar explained toThe Daily Beast.
“Kirstjen Nielsen is not going to be convinced by us politely saying ‘could you maybe not separate children from their families? Could you maybe stop detaining and deporting migrants who have done nothing wrong?’”
Hrabar defended her behavior as “off government time and a use of her First Amendment rights” in an interview with the Washington Examiner on Wednesday.
“If you see these people in public, you should remind them that they shouldn’t have peace,” she told the Examiner. “We aren’t the only ones who can do this. Anyone who sees Kirstjen Nielsen at dinner, anyone who sees anyone who works at DHS and ICE at dinner can confront them like this, and that’s what we hope this will inspire people to do.”
According to the DCNF, Hrabar’s Twitter account, @allisongeroi, featured tweets during the workday Wednesday publicizing Tuesday night’s protest.
Hrabar tweeted: “No one who has ever made their living terrorizing immigrants deserves peace. If you see one in a restaurant, at a movie, or in your neighborhood, remind them of that.”
“Keeping families together in jail is not an acceptable solution,” Hrabar tweeted Wednesday afternoon at 1:56 PM.
The pinko paralegal has since deleted her account.

Hrabar has worked at the DOJ since July 2016. Prior to that, she was a student at the selective Swarthmore College where tuition runs over $50,000 annually. She previously attended a charter school in Arizona.
Asked about Hrabar’s conduct, a Justice Department official told DCNF that “she cannot comment on personnel issues.”
